Harpers Ferry Step Into Autumn Festival – September 27-28, 2014
Pedal Through the Past – The ride begins in Harpers Ferry and takes participants along the C&O Canal and through Antietam National Battlefield. Following a map, route markers and trip sheet with QR codes, cyclists with smartphones can link to a series of informative videos at 10 stops along the route. You may choose your own self-guided route. The 40 mile ride is best for the experienced cyclist or you may choose a 31 mile ride that includes gentle hills. Both routes include rest stops with snacks & water, bathroom facilities and lunch
Stomp Into Autumn – Get ready to hear some high lonesome sounds from a Bluegrass band. If you like Pickin’ and Fiddlin’, this be the place to listen and maybe do some Stompin’ and Shufflin’. Bring a blanket, sit on the grass, maybe pack a picnic basket.
Hike Through History – Enjoy a 3-mile, downhill hike from Bolivar Heights Battlefield to the Confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers. Along the way, will be brief presentations at historic homes and sites that make the towns of Harpers Ferry and Bolivar unique. You probably have visited the National Park exhibits in the Lower Town of Harpers Ferry, but these stops will introduce you to lesser-known sites on private or town property or within the National Historical Park

Shenandoah Junction, WV | 15 Minutes from the Inn! – Meet approximately 200 artisans and craftspersons carefully selected and prejudged, demonstrating and showcasing their work at this nationally acclaimed festival.
