HOLLYWOOD ARRIVES AT CHARLES TOWN
The re-branded Hollywood Casino, conveniently located just an hour away from the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore beltways, will add table games to the approximately 5,000 slot machines and year-round thoroughbred racing already available at the property.The re-branding brings extensive renovations to the gaming floor that will invoke the glitz and glamour of 1930s’ art deco Hollywood. The latest audio-visual technologies will also be featured, such as a giant serpentine video wall that projects first-run movie trailers and video shorts that greet players at the main entrance. Plasma screens and video trees will be added throughout the casino for guests to enjoy as they play.Several table games areas, including high limit and party pit areas, will be added to the casino floor, offering a total of 85 tables. Twelve different types of table games are featured including: Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mini-Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker, among others.
