Are you open 7 days a week?
Yes, our historic Charles Town Inn is open Monday – Sundays. All rooms include a Rejuvenating Two-Course Gourmet Breakfast. There is no dinner service offered Monday – Wednesday, unless scheduled for a private event previously planned with our event coordinator. There is always someone available to assist you during your stay at our bed and breakfast in West Virginia.. If we need to make special arrangements for a guest, these can be accommodated if requested in advance.
Will we have our own bathroom?
Yes, all guest rooms have private baths.
What size will our bed be?
All rooms have queen or king size beds, please check our ROOMS & RATES page to see which room has the right bed for your needs.
Will there be a telephone in our room?
Yes, all rooms have telephones.
Will we have a Jacuzzi, whirlpool tub, or a hot tub?
We offer a two-person whirlpool tub in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Cottage. In addition, the Snuggery has a one-person whirlpool tub with a hand-held shower. There is no “Jacuzzi” on the property of our West Virginia B&B.
Can we connect to the Internet from our room?
Yes, Hillbrook has Internet access.
Will our room have air conditioning?
Yes, the Cottage, Gatehouse, Farmhouse & Hawthorn Suites all have their own central air conditioning unit and thermostat. In the main house, we have individual wall units in each room to make sure guests are comfortable.
Will an innkeeper help me develop an itinerary for my visit?
Yes, the innkeeper and staff members can help you develop an itinerary for your visit. We have several local restaurants in the area that we can recommend during your stay on non-dining days. We are also happy to assist in making reservations and in giving recommendations for guests. Please review our Plan Your Stay Page to gather a list of ideas.
When is Breakfast Served?
Included with your room stay is a Rejuvenating Gourmet Breakfast!
Gratuity not included.
Two seatings served at 8:30am and 9:45am in our breakfast room overlooking our magnificent groundsn in the Main House at the Hillbrook Estate.
Seating are by reservation only. We recommend making reservations in advance. You can do so by e-mailing us at info@hillbrookinn.com or calling us at 304.725.4223 at your earliest convenience. Reservation spaces book quickly so please notify us as soon as possible.
Do you have TV in rooms?
We have TV’s in The Cottage, Gatehouse, Farmhouse & Hawthorn Suites for guests to enjoy. However, in the main house we stay with the simple charm and do not provide TV in the interior of the house.
Are you pet-friendly?
Hillbrook is pet-friendly and offers the Cottage Suites to guests with pets (Winter Suite, Spring Suite, Summer Suite, Fall Suite). Our pet friendly Harpers Ferry hotel cannot accommodate pets inside the main house due to the restaurant. Exceptions will be made for service animals.

Do guests eat breakfast as a group?
Guests are welcome to come to breakfast from 8:30 am – 10:00 am and are not seated as a group. You may choose a quant table for two. If you meet a wonderful couple or come with friends you are welcome to visit and sit at the same table. We want our guests to enjoy the experience and welcome the opportunity to meet new people to enhance your stay!
How far are you from Hiking/Biking/Rafting?
Only steps from strolling around our 17 acres. In Addition we are 12 miles from Harpers Ferry, WV, where you can do all your outdoor activities. Go for a walk or bike ride on the C&O Canal, visit historic Harpers Ferry, join a group on a river ride and then return to our Harpers Ferry Bed and Breakfast.
