The Hallelujah Girls – The Old Opera House

Written by the same playwrights that filled the Opera House with laughter with plays like The Dixie Swim Club and Southern Hospitality; this play introduces us to the feisty females of Eden Falls, Georgia at a moment when they decide to shake up their lives. The action in this rollicking Southern comedy takes place in the SPA-DEE-DAH!, an abandoned church-turned-day-spa where this group of friends gathers every Friday afternoon to swap gossip and share their lives. A side-splitting comedy that will make you laugh out loud and shout "Hallelujah!"

"Il trittico" - Opera House
The Royal Opera’s first complete presentation of Puccini’s Il trittico since 1965. Leading director Richard Jones staged his witty, darkly comic realization of Gianni Schicchi for The Royal Opera in 2007, and here he completes the trio. 3 hrs 45 minutes including two intermissions.

Now in its fifth season, the Eastern Panhandle’s very own professional chamber orchestra has received wide critical acclaim and performs staples of the classical chamber orchestra repertoire as well as new, beautiful and unusual works. 2RCO, guest conducted by Stephen Czarkowski presents John Adams - The Chairman Dances, George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue with Soloist Scott Beard, John Adams - Tromba Lontana, and Dvořák - Symphony no. 8 in G Major, Op. 88.

This interactive program, for both adults and children, uses various props and the surrounding landscape features to “create” and tell the story of the Valley Campaign by literally placing visitors “in the middle of the campaign.” Presented by National Park Service Ranger Eric Campbell.
